So away we went!
Norita is a cafe which specializes in desserts and board games. Unfortunately, these desserts are alcohol free, so there are no ritas at Norita. Harhar.
The idea is that you order one as you play the other. They have games you can "rent" for a small fee or, for those who play more than just now and again, you can bring your own. Because we'd been talking Apples to Apples up to Pete since the weekend, we brought it along to let him see it first hand.
(Plus, Norita's Scrabble sets are all missing letters.)
When we arrived at Norita, we were all too full for anything other than a bit of after-dinner coffee, but eventually, we did order a Fruit Eskimo for two (with four spoons). A Fruit Eskimo is a giant pile of frozen delight. More or less. The (less than) fun part of Norita is that if they run out of certain ingredients, you'll get substitutions of the weirdest things. Like corn flakes for wafer cookies.
Anyway!
When everything is in stock, a Fruit Eskimo is a bowl of shaved ice with a large pile of ice cream, fresh fruits, wafers, chocolate and strawberry syrups, and pocky on top. Ours had banana, grapes, strawberry and kiwi.

Pete is dangerous with a camera. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
In any case, we continued to enjoy our dessert and several more games of Apples to Apples. There was a lot of laughter and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately, we had to leave the cafe before it got too late, because the staff wanted to close up. Before we left, however, we got to play some of the best cards ever for "Phony":
